Hello Everybody,
Well, this last week went as well as could be expected and then some. So the highlight of the week was the baptism and confirmation of Danielle Casey. She had some problems with her dad earlier in the week and was just having a hard time coping but, through a blessing and some scriptures she found the strength of testimony that she needed to take the next step and get baptized.
So along with her dad being a pain we also had another hiccup, Elder Gabor, the missionary that started to teach her and then had gone home for school just before Christmas was going to come back to baptize her. Well, he couldn’t make it so I was chosen to perform to baptism which was a great treat, the Spirit was so strong there and she had so much support from the ward family it was so cool, I’ll try and send some pictures from the baptism home this next week so that you all can see.
Then on Sunday she was confirmed and her husband actually came to Sacrament Meeting, it was a good sign and hopefully a sign of things to come.
Then yesterday we had a great experience with one of the members, we have come up with a way to try and get the members to help us find some people to teach because of how hard the area is to tract, and they have said that they would like to start out with a goal of 12 people for us to contact in the next 2 weeks, so if this works the way that we are hoping it will we might share it with the entire mission. :)
Well that’s about it for this week, thanks to everyone that wrote me, it was good to hear how everyone is doing.
Love ya'll tons
